I can't get Resharper to persist the 'Use Intellisense' option either.
Every time I load VS2003, I have to recheck it.

David, I downloaded build 214 of resharper for VS 2003 to try it out. It does not appear to be ready for use, we can take the conversation offline if you like and I can go into more detail, contact me through my contact form if you would like to speak more.

Ben, have you even tried the pre-Betas of ReSharper 2.0 for VS .NET 2005? I hope you're not comparing ReSharper 1.5 to VS .NEt 2005 ... you can see the full feature list of ReSharper 2.0 at:

http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/ReSharper+2.0+Plan

Which you can try now?

http://www.jetbrains.net/confluence/display/ReSharper/Download

David, what do you think we dropped the ball on in regards to VS 2005 support? Can you elaborate?

Best,

David Stennett

David, it seems like the stuff that I like in ReSharper is already in VS 2005, like the improved intelllisense, and the ability to stub out a method, etc. I'll have to try out Refactor Pro when my ReSharper trial period ends :)

I have never had a problem with it in the past, but right now I am developing in VS 20005 and I don't have my ReSharper :(

I'll give JetBrains another month to release a production version for 2005, and if they don't, I am buying Refactor Pro! no matter how many more or less bells and whistles there are in ReSharper.

I think JetBrains dropped the ball on VS 2005 support in a big way.

I have another story that maybe ReSharper "remember" too much. I am using Castle ActiveRecord in my project. AR just releases a new version Beta 3. After setting the reference, ReSharper cannot update its Intellisense, still show the old ones. I have to delete ReSharper folder. :)

Liang, I know you can choose which intellisense to use, I'm just frustrated because Resharper doesn't seem to remember my selection, so each time I start up VS I have to choose the option again.

You can select Intellisense you want.

Honestly, I only like the VS intellisense better because I like the font better, but I'm using Resharper's now, out of apathy, we'll see if it grows on me :)

I personally prefer the Resharper intellisense over the VS intellisense. Why do you like the MS intellisense better?
